Jagran Film Festival (JFF) is an initiative by the Jagran Prakashan Ltd. towards creating a culture of cinema appreciation and an honest and sincere attempt to create a platform that connects great content with audiences across the country. The 9th edition of Jagran Film Festival will start from Delhi, traveling through Lucknow, Kanpur, Allahabad, Varanasi, Meerut, Agra, Gorakhpur, Patna, Ranchi, Jamshedpur, Bhopal, Indore, Ludhiana, Hissar, Raipur, Dehradun and finally culminates in Mumbai. This makes it geographically the largest film festival perhaps in the world.
The festival screens films across genres from around the globe. A unique feature of JFF is that the cast and crew of a few select films are invited to a discussion with the audience on various elements of the film to wherever the festival travels. An important aspect of the festival is to generate discussions on the various aspects of Cinema and its impact on society and popular culture.
Terms & Conditions
- Age Limit: Delegates must be over 18 years of age as on 29th June 2018.
- Delegate card is not transferable and lost cards will not be replaced.
- For Media Pass, the submission of an accreditation form does not guarantee accreditation. The festival reserves the right to accept or reject an application.
- Delegate card is valid for the issued Festival city of the 9th Jagran Film Festival (JFF) 2018 and is only for viewing films screened by JFF/Master Class and Conversations etc. issued for that particular city.
- Film Catalogue can be purchased from the venue and Schedule of films (free of cost) will be available at the respective venues till stocks last.
- Film Schedule is subject to changes without any prior notice.
- Unauthorized photography and videography will not be allowed inside the theatre.
- Entry to screening will be on a first come first served basis.
- Availability of seats is on first come first serve basis and is subject to availability.
- Some seats will be reserved for JFF.
- Delegate must vacate the auditorium after every show.
- All rights of admission are reserved with the 9th Jagran Film Festival 2018.
- The venue rules and regulations are applied to all the delegates.
- The organizer(s) shall not be held responsible for or liable for any claims for damages and or any actions, civil or criminal or otherwise. For – A) Any injury, damage, laws, theft, nuisance, illness, annoyance or inconvenience that may be caused to the delegate(s)/participant(s). B) Any damage or loss caused due to death or injury to the delegate(s)/participant(s). C) Any drug abuse, unlawful or unacceptable behavior like sexual advances, molestations, misconduct, etc. that any delegate(s)/participant(s)/other(s) may indulge in and as a result, may cause any hurt or trauma and mental anguish or whatever of whatsoever nature to delegate(s)/participant(s) other(s).
- No weapons of any type whatsoever and sharp objects of any type allowed at Jagran Film Festival.
- Anyone found consuming or in possession of narcotic substances will be handed over to the authorities immediately.
- Security in all areas has the right to frisk anyone for security reasons.
- Rights of admission reserved.
- Please wear your Delegate badge all the times.
- Internet handling fee per ticket may be levied. Please check your total amount before payment.
- Tickets once booked cannot be exchanged or refunded.
- We recommend that you arrive at least 20 minutes prior at the venue to pick up your physical tickets.
