North East Festival 2019
The United Nations General Assembly adopted resolution proclaiming 2019 as the International Year of Indigenous Languages.
As a tribute to more than 220 tribal languages in the NER, this year North East Festival will be presenting artistic perspective of Indigenous languages of North East India.
Celebrating diversity of Indigenous language of Northeast India.
Proposed Activities:
Oral Literature workshop, Storytelling sessions, Exhibition & Folk Performances, Art Installations of Tangible Heritages, Retrospective Exhibition, Poetry meets of indigenous languages, Emerging Indigenous Writers meet, Folk Theatre Performance etc.
