My name is Mohammad Hamid, I am a Magician from Hyderabad but residing in New Delhi, I do the magic show for Entertainment.

Q WHAT IS IT THAT YOU DO AND ARE QUITE FAMOUS FOR ??
I am a magician. I know many tricks and shall show you some later….As long as you don’t give away the secret. HAH HAH !!
Q HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN PRACTICING MAGIC ??
About 10 to 12 years. Basically since I could walk and talk.
Q WHAT INFLUENCED YOU INTO BECOMING A MAGICIAN/PERFORMER ??
My whole family is full of Magicians.Its our tradecraft. My Grandfather was a magician..so is my father as well as all my 7 siblings.It is a tradition amongst us.(family photo or gathering)
Q WHO IS YOUR HERO IN THE MAGIC WORLD THAT YOU WISH TO BECOME LIKE ??
I don’t idolize anyone…I believe in myself and work hard.
Q ANY FILM STARS WHOSE MOVIES YOU MUST GO AND SEE ??
Yes, Shah Rukh Khan and Preity Zinta.
Q YOU PROBABLY HAVE LOTS OF EXPERIENCE AS A PERFORMER. COULD YOU TELL US WHERE ALL YOU HAVE PERFORMED ??
I have been to Netherlands to perform in 2002 for school children, some government officials and for other functions held there. My father, brother and I often go to places like Agra, Jaipur,Mumbai etc… to do shows. I speak English hence I do the tricks in English while my brother does it in Hindi.I was good in the Kalakar Vikas School which is where I learnt English. My grades were good and I came 1st all the time.( grade card shown) I go to many schools and perform as well as functions and parties like the one at Kamani auditorium last month.( footage from our school performance.) I have also performed at the British and Australian Embassies in the last year. ( Photo Album is displayed)
Q HOW MANY PERFORMANCE DO YOU DO PER MONTH AND WHAT DO YOU GET PAID APPROXIMATELY ??
I do around 10-15 shows a month and get Rs.700 per half an hour to 45 mins.
Q WHAT MOTIVATES YOU ??
I basically love performing and making people happy.
I like it when people get amazed at my tricks and applaud. It makes me proud and happy.
I also want to be like my father and brother Aziz.( Shot of them together)
Q SO WHICH ARE YOUR FAVORITE TRICKS ??
I enjoy doing all tricks which are cord pullers but especially like the Disappearing egg, Rope trick and sword piercing .( pictures of tricks displayed).
Q WHAT OTHER HOBBIES DO YOU INDULGE IN BESIDES MAGIC TRICKS ??
I have a huge stamp collection ( few seconds display). I also do tap dancing as well as ride a unicycle.( Show him doing the above).

Sure, why not.( 5-6 tricks are displayed by Hamid with pavee as volunteer if necessary.)

Bro: He is very hard working. If he sees some trick he doesn’t know, then he will keep on trying it till he succeeds and he normally does learn it very fast.
Mother: He is very hard working and we are all proud of him.He is the 1st in our family to converse and perform in English. He is very good in school. Our prayers are always for him.
Bro: I enjoy performing with Hamid. He is lively and energetic and willing to learn. That’s what makes him a good magician.
