Event Description : MUSIC FEST “14th Jahan-E-Khusrau” World Sufi Music Festival.
Get ready for one of the biggest sufi musical treats this season, as Jahan-E-Khusrau conceptualized by Muzaffar Ali is all set to return with impressive line-up of renowned artistes from all across the world. The festival popularly known for its grandeur and glamour, promises to be much bigger with strikingly soulful performances by renowned groups for 3 days.
Set to begin from 8th March in the heart of the Country, the festival which witnessed a footfall of more than 20,000 people visiting from different parts of the world during its last 13 editions, assures an interesting itinerary with artistes like Satinder Sartaj, Javed Ali, Kanwar Grewal, Minu Bakshi, Roohani Sisters and the Kadamb dance troupe and many others artistes who will be performing for the first time in the Country.
Music connoisseurs will also get to enjoy soulful renditions by the much lauded singer Javed Ali. Celebrating cultural diversity at its best, the festival also promises to provide platform to various dance groups with an insightful exposure to the wide culture of our Country.
Unlike its past editions which were equally captivating for music lovers, the most iconic music festival in India will celebrate GANGANAMA, the circle of life, dedicated to the music and the dance of the rivers which have unified mankind and its flowing cultures celebrating the evolution of civilizations on its opening day. It celebrates the ‘Rivers of Love’ which hopes to create awareness and spread love towards our environment.
Organised by Muzaffar Ali, a film maker, music aficionado, costume creator, artist and scion of the royal family of Kotwara, a princely state of Awadh is the man behind ‘Jahan-e-Khusrau’ and aims to create universal peace with Sufi Music in the world.
