Born on the 13th March 1978 in Delhi. Lokesh placed his fingers on the shehnai at the tender age of 10
under the encouraging traning of his father Shri Kalicharan Ji. Later he underwent rigorous
training under the renowned Shehnai Maestro Pt.Anant Lal and his son Pt. Daya
Shankar & Pt.Rajendra Prasanna. He has specialised in Gayaki and Tantrakari both.
He has given many Solo and Duet recitals and accompanied his Gurus in various music festivals and concerts .
Lokesh has performed in various music festivals and conferences
with fusion and jazz groups in india & abroad. he has played in festivals and conferences like
Taj Mahotsav,Agra,
Kal ke kalakar sangeet sammelan,Bombay,
vishu Digambar sangeet sammelan,Agra
swami Hari Das sangeet sammelan,Bombay
Megh Malhar Mahotsav,Lucknow,
