Birds of Lodi Garden by Ranjit Lal, Pubisher Oxford

Description

With its undulating swards of green, groves of grand old trees, clumps of flowering bushes, majestic old monuments and zig-zag water course, Lodi Garden attracts more than fifty species of birds, several of which have made their homes here, others which visit when the season and mood suits them. Most early morning and evening walkers appear to be in far too much hurry to appreciate its avian inhabitats, and are surprised when told there are so many types of birds waiting to be seen and heard. All you really have to do is keep your ears cocked and to stand and stare… the birds here have been listed in order of their scientific ‘roll call’.
